My kids are always singing. Like, always. Pop music, kid songs, self-created jams — it doesn’t matter. There are always tunes escaping their mouths. My daughters’ love of music, their infectious little voices, and their insistence at learning every lyric is contagious. And what better way to celebrate this love for all things music than to enjoy a few kid-friendly concerts in Boston! These artists are on our list of must-see shows:

Birds of a Feather

Saturday, February 8
The Cabot Theater, Beverly

Birds of a Feather is a new American indie family superduo consisting of two kids music luminaries — Brooklyn’s longtime children’s music pioneer, Suzi Shelton, and Filipina-American Little Miss Ann of Chicago. Individually, Suzi and Ann have each maintained a strong presence in the national kids music scene. For over a decade, these longtime friends have also been inspired to perform together, and they will be sharing their new debut album, Rock Together, this February at the Cabot — one of our favorite venues for kids concerts near Boston!

Alastair Moock and Friends

Saturday, March 8
The Cabot Theater, Beverly

Alastair Moock and friends, with their unique brand of upbeat, socially conscious Americana music, will be playing in Beverly this March! Joining them for this special performance is the Teen Tour Choir of Boston City Singers from Dorchester. Moock, a Massachusetts resident, has worked closely with Boston City Singers for years. The Tour Choir travels all over the world, bringing with them their joy of singing and drumming and a repertoire that spans the music of Civil Rights, vocal jazz and classical pieces, and folk tunes from around the globe.

Laurie Berkner

Saturday, April 26
11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Greenwich Odeum, Greenwich, RI

Sunday, April 27
11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The Cabot Theater, Beverly

You can catch Laurie Berkner streaming online anytime, but this summer she will be playing live in Greenwich, RI, and then in Beverly the next day! Hailed as the “queen of kids’ music,” Laurie is well known for her intuitive music and innovative style. Her tour includes her most famous hits, like “Bumblebee (Buzz Buzz),” “The Goldfish (Let’s Go Swimming),” “We Are The Dinosaurs,” and “Rocketship Run,” as well as newer hits like “Waiting for the Elevator,” “My Bunny Goes Hop,” and “Chipmunk at the Gas Pump” — plus a few well-loved songs that are not often heard at her full-band concerts!

The Wiggles

Sunday, June 29
3 and 6 p.m.
The Colonial Theater, Boston

The Wiggles are back with a new show based on their hit single “Bouncing Balls!” Get ready to sing, dance, and wiggle in this high-energy musical extravaganza — featuring all eight Wiggles, including OG Blue Wiggle Anthony, Simon, Lachy, Tsehay, John, Lucia, Caterina, and Evie. The 6 p.m. show sold out so rapidly that they added a second at 3 p.m.! If you want in, it’s smart to get your hands on these coveted tickets now!

Descendants/Zombies: Worlds Collide Tour

Monday, August 25
TD Garden, Boston

With the recent release of “Descendants: Rise of Red” and the premiere of “Zombies 4” slated for 2025, this concert is sure to be amazing! It’s described as a one-of-a-kind interactive live concert experience that will feature Kylie Cantrall, Freya Skye, Malia Baker, Malachi Barton, Dara Reneé, Joshua Colley, and Mekonnen Knife. The arena tour will celebrate the chart-topping music from Disney’s “Descendants” and “Zombies” movie franchises, inspiring families and fans of all ages to dance, sing, and engage with their favorite stars. This is a fun way to say goodbye to summer vacation!

Sarah Casimiro

Sarah grew up in Rhode Island and now lives in West Bridgewater, making brief stops in Quincy, Fall River, and East Bridgewater, along the way. She made the leap from Rhode Island to Massachusetts way back in 1999 when she decided to pursue a teaching degree at Boston University. She chose her career in 1987 and is currently teaching high school English to 10th and 12th graders, fulfilling a 6-year-old’s dream at the age of 22, a proclamation that often brings forth snickers from her students. She became a mother for the first time in 2016 to her daughter Cecilia, then doubled down in late 2018 with the birth of her second daughter, Adelaide. She currently lives with her husband, Jason, their dog, Nanook, their cat, Moxie, and five chickens. They share a home with her parents, who live above them and also provide the most amazing childcare for Ceci and Addie. Sarah couldn’t live without her family, her insulin pump (shout out to other T1D mamas), and Starbucks iced chai lattes. She could live without angry people, essay grading, and diaper changing.
