Holiday tree festivals are a joyful way to support your community while savoring the holiday spirit! Beautifully decorated trees are donated and put on display for visitors to enjoy. At the end of the event, the trees are raffled off, with proceeds going to support the greater community. Check out a few of our favorite Christmas tree festivals in the Boston area!

Methuen Festival of Trees

November 23-December 7
Methuen

This festival of trees will feature more than 300 trees, mini-trees, and wreaths to see — and you could win any of them! There will also be a $5,000 cash raffle, an online auction, a holiday gift shop, a children’s scavenger hunt, and a visit with Santa. This family celebration has something for everyone.

Mass Horticultural Society Festival of Trees

November 29-December 29
Wellesley

This festival of trees has it all — festive lightscapes in the gardens, an indoor model train exhibit, and dozens of beautiful holiday trees that are decorated and donated by local businesses, families, and individuals. Enter the raffle for your chance to win a decked-out tree! At the Snow Village, model trains make their way through villages and scenes, including Christmas in Boston, Fenway Park, a Dickensian village, the North Pole, and hundreds of decorated houses.

Tyngsborough Festival of Trees

November 29-30, December 1, 5, 6-7
Tyngsborough

Sure to become a memorable family tradition for years to come, this festival features dazzling Christmas trees available for raffle, live music and entertainment, kids activities and games, gift shops from local artisans, food, and more. Outside, you will find many photo opportunities and light displays.

Easton Festival of Trees

November 30-December 15

The Easton Festival of Trees was created to raise funds for community organizations. At the end of the event, the beautifully decorated trees are raffled off. Throughout the two-week experience, guests can enjoy activities such as carolers, a vendor marketplace, a kids’ day event, and multiple workshops to bring friends and family together.
