This fantastic “my mini and me” shop is run by a local mom, Jacqui, who recently opened her brick-and-mortar shop — and it is a dream! Cosmo Capri started as a trendy women’s clothing pop-up and e-commerce site, but when Jacqui had her first child she recognized the need to cater to soon-to-be mamas, postpartum mamas, women with real bodies — and their little ones! This small woman-owned boutique is a hidden gem in downtown Reading with its impeccable service and variety of clothing, jewelry, handbags, and other accessories. They are proud to have been open for more than 10 years! Aine’s is a great place to find everything from statement pieces to gifts to those classic wardrobe staples.

This clothing and accessory spot in Wakefield is the modern mom’s boutique and gift shop, offering clothing for children — both girls and boys — plus women’s apparel. The mother-daughter team that runs this shop focuses on a mix of unique and trendy items from many brands that are also owned and operated by moms! This independent children’s shop was established in 1999 and offers first communion dresses, christening gowns, and flower girl dresses in addition to everyday apparel. Owned and operated by two mothers of young children, Good Hearts has been on the “Best of the North Shore” list many times!
Love Struck

Shopping for those teens and tweens doesn’t have to be difficult! This boutique — which is a sister store to GoodHearts — is run by moms who get it. In addition to selling clothes and accessories, Love Struck also hosts birthday parties and events, like craft and makeup classes.

This south-of-Boston boutique offers all sorts of adorable fashions and is run by a mom of two. You can check out their women’s and kids’ items in person or online — this shop has such great energy!

Armed with the uncanny ability to pick the most flattering pair of jeans for any body type, Alison O’Brien opened her specialty denim boutique in the North End in 2005 when she was fresh out of business school. Now located in the Superette in the Seaport District, Injeanious is Boston’s premier denim destination! You can find a carefully curated assortment of jeans along with a range of sweaters, tops, jumpsuits, jackets, and accessories.

In downtown Hingham, Hunt + Trade is the South Shore’s destination for modern consignment and vintage. The owner, Sree Lenhart, carefully and thoughtfully selects items. Sree, who has a finance and brand marketing background, was inspired to open the consignment store to help ingrain her into her vibrant community and offer her more flexibility to spend time with her three boys.
Project Paulie

What started as owner Nicky Bandera making lasagna for people in need during the pandemic has turned into a boutique with a unique way of giving back to the community. Nicky worked with local artists to create the Project Paulie Tomato, featured on multiple different-colored beanies. Each beanie color is assigned to a local organization, which receives proceeds from each hat sale.
