KATE WELDON LEBLANC is the Executive Director of Resolve New England (RNE), a non-profit organization dedicated to building a caring community in New England to support, inform, and advocate for all those struggling to grow their families. Kate and her husband Joe experienced years of infertility and loss on their road to parenthood, which makes them very passionate about the RNE mission. They are now the proud and grateful parents of a teenager named Sophie. Prior to her arrival at RNE, Kate worked for the Center for Early Relationship Support of Jewish Family & Children’s Service, the Child Advocacy and Government Relations departments of Boston Children’s Hospital, and the Massachusetts Legislature. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Skidmore College and a Master of Public Affairs from University of Massachusetts Boston.

In this role, she is responsible for the planning and implementation of programs and services, including RNE’s hallmark peer support groups. Emily’s introduction to RNE came in the midst of her own family building struggles and she is now the grateful and tired parent of 10-year-old triplets and is honored to be able to support those that are still on their family building journey.
